The Conception Kit has 24 ovulation predictors to help pinpoint ovulation.
- As you well know, your patients’ best time to conceive is during ovulation. Ovulation is the best time for the sperm to meet up with the egg as it travels to the uterus.
- This important window of opportunity can be identified by using the luteinizing hormone test strips (LH sticks) provided in the Conception Kit. A luteinizing hormone surge occurs when ovulation is about to happen. This hormone level generally rises 24 to 36 hours prior to the egg leaving the ovary follicle, then traveling down the fallopian tube and into the uterus.
- Most women do not have a specific day during each cycle that they experience ovulation. To give your patient a greater chance to pinpoint her best time to conceive, the Conception Kit includes eight LH surge ovulation predictors each month.
- Once she has determined that she is ovulating, she should have intercourse normally on the following day. Your patient will use the special condom, sperm friendly intimate moisturizer and Conception Cap provided in the Conception Kit.
